Texas and Oklahoma Automotive Paint Company was founded in 2003. Rick Thornton is the owner and operator of the business, and works with 25 outstanding Team members that support our valued customers.He has been in this industry for over 16 years at the manufacturing level. The idea behind the start up was to offer “real” services and support to the business partner the Collision Center at a critical time in our industry. The P.B.E. market segment has trended away from customer service, and moved to the “cheapest” or as they call it lowest price offering. Unfortunately, this is the very action that is driving our industry and in particular our Collision Centers in the ground.The Distributors in the United States have continued to cut important personnel from their organizations and drop imperative services and programs for the Collision Centers. This has and will persist as our industry progresses forward. Your Distributor is playing a major role in shops nationally continuing to lose sales in their respective markets. The unique difference at Texas and Oklahoma Automotive Paint is that we offer cutting-edge processes that have and will continue to elevate our Collision Centers as the Leaders in their respective markets. The Insurance Companies continue to demand lower costs from our Collision Centers. The distributors must train, educate, and demonstrate ways to surpass insurance industry expectations. At Texas and Oklahoma Automotive Paint our job is show our Collision Centers how to improve cycle times, productivity, insurance marketing programs, and implement a network through PPG that will take their business well into the 21st Century.
